In the midst of the summer of 2021 there is an element of doubt concerning how Rotary will continue to provide the connections between people that Rotary members have valued in the past. While the motto of "hands-face-space" is certain to become part of routine in our organization, it's obvious that trust is increasing and more people are making face-to-face interactions. Rotary's changed. As we approach the weeks leading to the summer of 2021, there's still a lot of uncertainty regarding what we can do to provide services to the local community. This includes the valued human connection that was enjoyed by Rotary members of old. It is clear, however that the mantra of hands-on-face will continue to be the norm for Rotary. Rotary is, however, having developed. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting friendships. For the sake of keeping the business meetings we hold online we have reintroduced service and social events in a safe meeting room. We have taken the new opportunities and combined them with the best of our pre-pandemic habits to make a bright new future for Rotary! It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75% of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business like usual" routines.
